Meet the founder

My passion for travel began early, thanks to my family vacations as a child. Growing up, we explored iconic destinations like New York City, Washington, D.C., and Orlando, sparking my curiosity about the world. My first solo adventure without my parents was a school trip to Montreal, Canada, which opened my eyes to the excitement of traveling independently.

After graduating from the University of Florida with a degree in Microbiology, I set out to see the world. I started by visiting the Caribbean, and before long, I expanded my horizons to international travel with organized travel groups. These experiences deepened my love for exploring different cultures and inspired me to share that passion with others.

Initially, I dreamed of becoming a trip host for an established travel group, but I quickly realized I wanted something more personal—a company of my own focused on curating women’s getaways. I launched Powder Puff Travels during one of the most challenging times: 2020. With travel at a standstill, I used the time to deepen my knowledge of the industry. I earned a certificate in Hospitality and Tourism Management and later studied with the Travel Institute to become a Certified Travel Agent. These steps gave me the foundation to create meaningful, well-planned travel experiences for women who are ready to explore the world.
